You know when we get married, it seems like we know what the other person is thinking, and we are on the same wavelength. Vik and I used to finish each other’s sentences and we would laugh about it.

Then there came a time, when things shifted, and it wasn’t the same anymore. It was harder then. It wasn’t until we developed our relationship with Jesus that we came back in sync.

Life is chaotic here in this world. In everyday life, there is meetings, events, obligations, carpooling for kids, caring for parents, serving others, running errands, running across town, running myself ragged, trying to find “me time” and running out of energy….this is when we just want a quiet place and a cup of anything.

We need breathing room. We need time to ourselves and Jesus. The only way I get that is first thing in the morning! The house is quiet, usually. I read the scripture of the day; then the chapter to make sure I understand what I need to; next I read Bible plans in my app, and I write what God is saying to me. He tells me if He wants them as blogs, bible studies or just things to thing about. If I don’t get this time, my day is frazzled, and I am pushed to my limits! Then I have to repent and apologize to my best friend, Jesus, for not making the time to spend with Him!!

So, if your life is getting out of hand, make time for Jesus. You will find things go much easier in your life, in your marriage and in all relationships. You will be glad you did!

Isaiah 41:10 NIV, it reads, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am Your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Jesus is the one who knows us best. He balances us! He gives us the breathing room we need!!!
