DO THE RIGHT THING!

Sometimes, our marriages are in a dry season. Sometimes, when we are in that season, we struggle to hear the voice of God. You are unsure what you are supposed to do next.

We all go through seasons like this. The only thing you can do is to do the right thing!

What does that mean, you may ask…..well, it means we continue living according to what the Bible tells us to do, even if your spouse is not doing what they should. We are individuals and we will all be called one day before the throne. So, we wake up every day and tell God “Thank You, Father, for this day! Help me to live the way You want that glorifies You!” When you tell God you want to live His way, He is so pleased!

When the season is over, you will know because you will hear His voice clearly saying, “It’s over.” Then you will notice that God is taking you in a ‘clear’ direction.

It’s okay that you don’t understand. You are not meant to understand everything that happens. God is in control and that is what matters! He has a bigger plan than we do. Just as it says in Jeremiah 29:11 NIV, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.” And then in Isaiah 55:8-9 NIV He says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are my ways your ways,” declares the Lord. 9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

God knows what He is doing and rest assured He sees you and that you are doing the right thing! He knows your heart and that is what is most important.

So, continue to persevere in this season. While you wait on God, submit yourself to Him and choose to do the right thing.

I hope this helps you and your marriage! You can always go to our Prayer Wall and add a prayer request. It does not need to be about marriage or a relationship. It can be about anything! It would be our pleasure to pray and stand with you!

If you need to talk with someone, please reach out to info@unitymarriageministry.org. It would bless and honor us to speak with you! REMEMBER:
