Did you ever watch the series, “Father Knows Best”? It aired a long time ago and I am telling my age range…lol! It’s all about raising your children, juggling the work-life balance,, stewarding God’s provision and building a strong marriage. At least that is the way I choose to see it!
For some, it would be simply “entertainment”, but it was a great wholesome show back when I was growing up! We didn’t watch a lot of TV. This, however, was something that we could all watch together….it brought UNITY to the family as we laughed and talked about the show. It was important to spend time together.
Now that I am an adult, I appreciate the time we spent together! God has shown us over and over how important the family is. He told us the first time we started down the path with Power and Authority Ministries, He wanted us to have a marriage ministry. We received a prophetic word from our Father the first time we met with the ministry/church and we had no clue as to what this Pastor was talking about!
Well, I am a skeptic…BIG TIME! I do not believe something you tell me just because you said so…lol! It took 3 times for this revelation to sink in over a period of several months, but God revealed that this was what He wanted us to do. Once He confirmed it, that was that. We did everything we thought He wanted….attended conferences, read books, listened to YouTube videos, started our non-profit, had a website created and the list goes on. We tried to do a couple of events, but they did not go over well. We obeyed what we were told to do because you see “FATHER KNOWS BEST!”
Nothing seemed to work. We all have tried the best we know how and we continue to write blogs as prompted by the Holy Spirit. This is called perseverance! Even though we think nothing is happening, we have FAITH! We TRUST our Father! His timing is always perfect!
So, in conclusion, we will continue to move forward as best we can and do as we are led to do. FATHER KNOWS BEST!
I hope this helps you and your marriage! You can always go to our Prayer Wall and add a prayer request. It does not need to be about marriage or a relationship. It can be about anything! It would be our pleasure to pray and stand with you!
If you need to talk with someone, please reach out to info@unitymarriageministry.org. It would bless and honor us to speak with you! REMEMBER:
