Vik Nathan President
Vik is a United States Marine. Born in Chennai, India and raised in the US. Brought up in the Hindu faith, but never satisfied, he found the answers to his questions when he found Jesus Christ a few years ago. Then fast forward to 2017, Vik was spiritually attacked, pushed and left for dead, but our Father said “NO!”, you are my son and I have plans for you! Vik was rushed into emergency brain surgery with 2 hematomas and expected to be there for 3 months, but walked out on the 5th day. 6 months later, Vik had a seizure while driving on the highway and was saved again (of course, there is more to this story…lol). Vik cannot get over being saved and therefore lives, breathes and praises our Father every moment of every day! Jesus walks and talks with him. He guides his life and Vik will tell you that He is the way, the truth, and the life!
Debbie King Secretary
Debbie was born and raised in California and has a background in the real estate/mortgage/title and escrow industry. She raised 2 boys and has been married 4 times, but don’t let that throw you! Her experiences have shaped and molded her the way God intended. Without the life circumstances and hardships that she’s had to go through, she wouldn’t be able to understand the challenges, feelings and emotions that others are dealing with! Debbie has explored different spiritual paths but has always been searching to fill the void. It wasn’t until she started attending Gateway Church in Southlake that everything started really falling into place. He has led her down this path and only through Faith and Focus on Jesus Christ has she been able to stay the course.
Vik and Debbie have been married 18 years in June, 2024. It’s been a roller coaster ride to say the least…lol! Marrying someone from a different ethnicity brings its own set of challenges. Let’s just say the “family” was not open-minded nor accepting of inter-racial marriages, at least for the first 7 years. Not to mention there is a 22-year age difference! Vik and Debbie are certified Life Coaches, as well as, licensed and ordained Ministers.
The Lord revealed to Debbie that when they were married on Father’s Day 18 years ago, they were chosen to be married on that day, HIS DAY, not man’s, and Jesus emphasized this because Unity Marriage Ministry is their life purpose together!
So, we have a unique story that makes us blessed by Papa God as He has called us to this Unity. He has opened so many doors and poured out so many blessings. As it states in Hebrews 11:1, ‘Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.’ We are obeying His will!
