You know, sometimes, we get caught up in what we want or think we need instead of being content and grateful for what we already have.
There are people out there with families that go from shelter to shelter trying to keep their family safe because of some circumstances that have left them without a home.
I’m thankful that I have a roof over my head. I thank God every day for the blessings He has given me. The Holy Spirit reminds me that when we repent for the things we take for granted, we can feel the joy that comes with it! Isn’t our God enough? Doesn’t He satisfy you? If not, then you are missing the whole point of the Bible and why Jesus went to the cross for us. You need to get on your knees and ask God for help. You have to trust Him to show you just how much He loves you!
I would advise you to listen to the song “Nothing Else” by Cody Carnes. He wrote this song with two other friends and the Holy Spirit convicted him and asked him this question: “Aren’t you tired of getting caught up in what you’re getting and what you’re not? That’s not going to fulfill you, but you can be satisfied with Me and therefore thankful for all the blessings you already have.” That was a big come to Jesus moment for him. You can go through Cody Carnes’ Bible Plan titled, Nothing Else, Only Jesus…like I did and gain more understanding and insight.
In Jeremiah 29:13-14 MSG it says, “When you come looking for me, you’ll find me. Yes, when you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I’ll make sure you won’t be disappointed.”– God’s Decree–“I’ll turn things around for you. I’ll bring you back from all the countries into which I drove you”–God’s Decree–“bring you home to the place from which I sent you off into exile. You can count on it.”
God is telling you right here is this scripture how much He wants to help you, but you have to seek Him with your whole heart. That’s what He looks at. It’s that simple. Why not do it today? SEEK HIM! You will be surprised what He will do for you once you start walking with Him!
Matthew 6:33 TPT, “So above all, constantly seek God’s Kingdom and His righteousness, then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.”
