Do you feel like you have fallen and can’t get back up? You are too tired to go on?
All of us at one time or another have felt the same way. You are not alone! No one is perfect. Well, that is except Jesus Christ!
Life is not easy. Our Father in Heaven will forgive you because He loves you that much! It doesn’t matter what you have done. All you need to do is repent and ask for forgiveness. It’s really that simple. Our God will make you new!
Even if you have turned to worldly things and made them your idols instead of Jesus! Even if you have lusted, turned to porn, had an affair, lied, stole, hurt someone….the list is endless. Our Heavenly Father will forgive YOU! He LOVES YOU that much! You and your relationships/marriage are precious to our God!
Romans 6:22-23 NIV says, “22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Do you see what that scripture says? Read it again! Once you have repented to God, He forgives you and gives you the gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ! THERE IS THE SECRET!!!
So, what I mean when I say repented is that you have said the Sinner’s Prayer and you meant every word because it has to come from the heart! God knows and sees your heart. If you think He will give you the gift of eternal life just because you said those words….THINK AGAIN! He knows if you really mean what you say and believe with your whole heart! Don’t think you can fool Him because you can’t. If you want to renew your relationship with Papa God or this is all new to you, the Sinner’s Prayer is below:
Lord Jesus, I know You died on the cross for my sins and I ask for forgiveness. I know You are the Living God and rose from the dead. So, today, I am answering Your knock on the door of my heart, turning from my sin, and asking You to be my Lord and Savior from this day forward. Thank You for saving me. I pray this in the Holy name of Jesus Christ. Amen
