When you see the words ‘Praise Report’, you think of something “good”. Well, what if it meant something else?
When was the last time you praised our Father in Heaven? Shared with Him how much He means to you. Told Him ‘thank you’ for the confirmation you received that you had been asking about.
For me, I realized that I praise Him and tell Him how much I love Him, but I still get caught up in the worldly things. I am human and I must repent for my focus going astray.
I am going to a Vision Board party tonight, Friday, January 5th, 2024. So, I went and looked at the one I did a year ago. I was ashamed of it and myself because it was all about what I wanted to happen for me, and I had a little note on my board about God, the Father; Jesus, the Son; and the Holy Spirit with a small heart drawn on it. WOW! How sad!
JESUS is the CENTER of my LIFE! It should be the BIGGEST WORDS AND PICTURES ON MY BOARD!!!! How my focus has changed! HE is my Heavenly Husband, first and foremost! I was thinking about what I was going to do and my mind was a blank until I sat down to write this blog!
My Vision Board is going to say I want a deeper relationship with my King and more wisdom and understanding of the knowledge He gives! I want to only write His words and books! The world can receive them in His timing not mine!
Father, continue to take the scales off my eyes and show me the error of my ways! I want to do Your work not the work of the world! THY WILL BE DONE!!!! Love more through words and show the entire world how GOOD You are! I want my Praise Report to show how much I love You and want a closer personal deeper relationship with You. I want it to show that I praise You every day!
In Psalms 107:5-9 NIV, it reads: “They were hungry and thirsty, and their lives ebbed away. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them from their distress. He led them by a straight way to a city where they could settle. Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for mankind, for He satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.”
Jesus wants a relationship with us that remains consistent with our lives. He wants to celebrate with us when we are happy and He wants to comfort us when we are having difficulties. He loves it when we worship and praise Him for who He is, the Great I Am.
So, let’s sing to our Heavenly Father for He is so worthy and no one else will do! Our spouses are important, but they do not come before our Creator!
